Soleta Gabrielle sits on a moderately sloped plot at the top of a hill, with panoramic views over the city. The requirement to use it as a permanent residence — not merely a holiday home — shaped the brief from the outset.
The slope was resolved through a split-level section that follows the terrain without significant excavation. Ground screws provided a precise, low-impact foundation with minimal earthworks.
The panoramic orientation to the city was balanced against privacy requirements and solar performance — the glazing strategy is calibrated to capture views without sacrificing thermal comfort.
